Vineyards on the plains
The lowland vineyards are located in the hamlet of Bolzano, in the municipality of San Giovanni al Natisone and are characterized by alluvial fans from the rivers which, over time, have deposited enormous quantities of limestone material and created the stony expanses that characterize this area.
The presence of the mountains is a crucial component of the particularly favorable climate for the cultivation of vines. In addition to their role in generating the soils and geology unique to the area, the mountains provide shelter from the currents of the cold northern winds. The Adriatic Sea kisses the region with the beneficial effect of its breezes.

Hill Vineyards
Our vineyards are all located in Rosazzo whose soil is characterized by a sedimentary rock sequence of alternating limestone, marls, and sandstone, called “Flysch.”
A truly unique microclimate where the nearness of the Adriatic Sea, combined with the presence of the Santa Caterina hill, ensures mild winters and springs with abundant ventilation and optimal thermal excursions.
